Bama in the NFL: Week Seven Recap
Week Seven is now behind us, and we are now officially at the halfway point of the season! Let's see which stars shined from this past week's games of the 2024 NFL season.
Titans - 10 vs. Bills - 34:
Amari Cooper (Bills) - A fresh new start indeed! A great showing in his first game as a Bill, Cooper hauled in four catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. The connection between Allen and Cooper looks to be great. Cooper will likely get more looks as the season continues and he learns more of the playbook. He will definitely be a key piece to this offense going forward.
Calvin Ridley (Titans) - He is getting the targets, its just the accuracy was off. In part due to the back up getting the start, and due to the bills defense playing well. He did catch three balls for 42 yards. A decent line for a tough situation. A bounce back should be inbound soon.
Lions - 31 vs. Vikings - 29:
Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions) - 15 carries for 116 yards with two touchdowns and four catches for 44 yards. A great showing from Gibbs. This is who he is at his best, a rushing threat and a receiving threat. A very efficient back. expect him to continue to feast.
Jameson Williams (Lions) - If the Titans did one thing good on Sunday, it was their ability to eliminate Williams from doing anything. Tough day for Williams but he should bounce back quickly.
Brian Branch (Lions) - Four tackles and two huge pass break ups. A big game from Branch, and a great sophomore season he is having!
Ravens - 41 vs. Buccaneers 31:
Derrick Henry (Ravens) - The king feasted again! I think it may be time to put him on some award watchlists. 115 carries for 169 yards and one catch for 13 yards and a touchdown. It was clearly a long night for the Bucs defense. What a game from the Ravens and Derrick Henry. Is this the year the Ravens do it with Lamar Jackson?
