Former Alabama linebacker Demouy Kennedy has transferred to Colorado.

He made the announcement in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning that read "Romans 8:28."

That bible quote reads, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

The junior is a former four-star recruit from the class of 2020. He ranked No. 39 nationally, No. 3 in linebackers, and No. 1 in Ala., according to 247Sports Composite.

During his time at the Capstone, Kennedy recorded eight total tackles (three solo, five assisted), and attempted seven rushed for 16 yards in 24 games played.

The Ala., native missed a majority of last season with a knee injury.

The 6'3, 220 lb defensive star is one of multiple players to enter the portal this season, joining walk-ons Gabe Pugh and Jacoby Boykins, as well as Javion CohenTrey Sanders, Aaron AndersonAmari KightJoJo EarleTommy BrockermeyerKhyree JacksonTraeshon Holden, Jack MartinTanner Bowles, Damieon GeorgeBraylen IngrahamChristian Leary, and Tyler Harrell.

Kennedy is the 15th Alabama transfer to announce his new home and the first to go to Colorado.
