Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is quickly becoming one of the biggest names in the 2025 NFL Draft conversation. Once projected as a solid Day 2 selection, Milroe is now on the radar of teams looking to make a splash at the quarterback position - potentially even in the first round.

Milroe has several visits lined up in the coming days, including meetings with the New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams, and Seattle Seahawks. These visits come in the heels of private workouts earlier this week with both the New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns, with sources describing his performances in those sessions as "impressive."

The buzz around Milroe has steadily intensified in recent weeks. According to the 2025 Consensus Big Board, Milroe ranks No. 4 among the 34 quarterbacks in this year's class and holds the No. 44 overall spot. His highest projected draft slot sits at No. 18 overall, and while most projections still have him pegged as a second-round pick, there's growing belief that Milroe could sneak into the first round. Current consensus board data suggests he holds a 25.4% chance of being selected in the opening round.

Fueling that speculation further is Milroe's decision to accept an invitation to attend the NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin - typically reserved for those with a strong chance of being first-round selections. Whether or not he hears his name called on night one, Milroe's stock is clearly on the rise.
