Kenpom Releases Initial 2024 Rankings
We're just 21 days away from the start of Alabama Men's Basketball, with the Crimson Tide unveiling the Final Four banner from Phoenix, Arizona, last Friday. Kenpom has released its initial rankings for the 2024 season, with Alabama viewed as one of the top teams in the country.

Alabama was one of the four remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament team last season, making it to the Final Four for the first time in program history. Alabama has Final Four hopes again this season, with Mark Sears, Grant Nelson, and Latrell Wrightsell returning from last year's talented team. Alabama also added valuable pieces in recruiting, with Derrion Reid generating a lot of hype in the preseason, and Cliff Omoruyi being viewed as the rim protector Alabama missed last season. The Crimson Tide is viewed as one of the top teams in the country according to Kenpom.
Alabama is ranked as the No. 4 overall team to start 2024 according to Kenpom, and Alabama has the No. 1 overall offense in the country according to the same rankings. Alabama has the No. 30 defense according to the same rankings.
