The experts never would have predicted it last fall, but Alabama's only first-round draft pick this year was center Ryan Kelly. The Rimington Award winner impressed scouts and coaches during workouts and jumped all the way up to Colts at 18th overall.

Last year's Rimington Award winner has already joined Indianapolis, where he will compete for the starting center position. The team didn't waste anytime signing the three-year starter at Alabama, and he'll earn eight figures for his first professional contract.

The four-year contract will pay Kelly $10.45 million - all of which is guaranteed - and that deal includes a $5.8 million signing bonus. The yearly base salary increases from $450,000 his rookie season up to $1.875 million in year four.

The Colts held their rookie minicamp last week, and Kelly was taking snaps as the first-team center. The team even shared this GIF to its Twitter account.
