Bryce Young, Jameson Williams and Will Anderson, Jr. were named SEC Players of the Year by the Associated Press on Wednesday, marking the second year in a row multiple Crimson Tide players have earned the honors with DeVonta Smith and Patrick Surtain II being named in 2020.

Bryce Young, through 13 games, has completely dominated opposing defenses and has looked as poised as an NFL veteran while doing it. In his lone season as a starter, which is far from over, the California native has thrown for over 4,300 yards and 43 touchdowns and has delivered some instant classic performances.

Williams, a former Ohio State Buckeye, joined the Crimson Tide ahead of the 2021 season and instantly made his impact felt. Williams was named Co-Special Teams player of the year, sharing the honors with Tennessee's Velus Jones, Jr. and currently leads the SEC in kick return touchdowns with two.

The junior receiver is arguably the most impactful special teams player for Alabama on both return and coverage units, blowing by defenders in the open field and speeding by blockers to make big-time tackles.

Will Anderson, Jr., or the Terminator as he is affectionately known, has been hands down the best defender in college football this season and possibly even the best player overall. The sophomore edge rusher has 91 tackles, 31.5 TFL's and 15.5 sacks and is drawing rightful comparison to arguably the greatest edge rusher in college football history, Derrick Thomas.

With Young and Anderson at the helm of the offense and defense, and Williams making his presence felt on special teams, the Crimson Tide are one of the best teams in college football. Alabama sits atop the playoff rankings after their dominant win over the Georgia Bulldogs, a game in which all three players made their presence known, and faces off against Cincinnati in their semi-final matchup.

The Bearcats, with a very experienced team and excellent secondary, could be a tougher matchup for the Tide than many anticipate, but with the extremely talented trio of Young, Williams and Anderson on the field, Alabama is very tough to beat.
