Alabama Basketball is coming off an incredible Final Four run for the first time in school history. Led by veterans Mark Sears, Grant Nelson, and Latrell Wrightsell Jr., Alabama basketball put together a masterclass in the NCAA Tournament to make it to Phoenix, Arizona.

All three are back for Alabama in 2024, and they added even more talent.

The Crimson Tide are likely the best team in college basketball, with Bill Self's Kansas squad coming in at a close second. The rat poison has already started for the Crimson Tide, with the Director of Scouting at 247 Sports and CBS, Adam Finkelstein, heaping praise onto this roster with 55 days until the first official game inside Coleman Coliseum.

"I'm looking at this roster, and I just don't see who doesn't play. There are legitimately 12 or 13 guys on this roster that absolutely have to play," Finkelstein said.

"You're talking about either legitimate All-American candidates or legitimate NBA Draft candidates at virtually every position on the floor."

"I think [Mark Sears] is going to be one of the best guards in college basketball again this year, then you add Cliff Omoruyi in the middle; just a defensive monster, talk about protecting the rim. Grant Nelson, the skilled big. You've got Jarin Stevenson, who I've talked about as a potential breakout guy. We're not even mentioning Mouhamed Dioubate yet, who is kind of like the defensive extraordinaire of this group."

Finkelstein went on to talk about the young additions to Alabama basketball as well, "Derrion Reid, you're hearing tremendous things about how he is acclimating so far as a freshman. Houston Mallette is another one."

"This is ridiculous," Finkelstein said. "There's just too many guys. Call the intrasquad scrimmage the conference championship game. They are absolutely loaded."

Alabama basketball is certainly going to be fun to watch this season. The Crimson Tide will participate in two charity exhibition games in the preseason. Alabama will play Wake Forest in Birmingham on October 18, and Memphis in the "Rocket City Classic" in Huntsville on October 28.

On October 11, the Crimson Tide will host fans at Coleman Coliseum to unveil the Final Four banner from the team's 2024 NCAA Tournament run.

Alabama Men's Basketball will officially tip off its season inside Coleman Coliseum on November 4 against UNC Asheville.
