On Monday, Florida State quarterback Thomas Castellanos provided the Crimson Tide with bulletin board material ahead of the Seminoles' opening game of the year against the Crimson Tide, telling On3 Sports that "Nick Saban isn't there to save them now," when asked about the Tide.

South Carolina Gamecock quarterback LaNorris Sellers was asked about the comments on Tuesday by Zach Gelb. Sellers lost the Crimson Tide last season in Bryant-Denny Stadium, throwing for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Alabama squeaked out a win thanks to a last-second interception by junior cornerback Domani Jackson, who ran the ball out of the endzone and ate the rest of the clock to seal the 27-25 win for Alabama.

Sellers will get another crack at the Tide this season, with Alabama travelling to Williams-Brice Stadium on October 25.

While Sellers and the Gamecocks hope to defeat the Tide in front of their home crowd, he isn't buying that Alabama is dead in the water without Nick Saban.

"Alabama's still Alabama to me," Sellers said. "They were a good team last year, they're a good team. They're big, strong, and fast; that's how I remember watching them growing up.

"I don't think they've really changed that much. Obviously, they got a new coaching staff and all that, but that's still SEC ball, that's still Alabama."
